Welcome to Adelaide!  

                On behalf of the APDSA of Australia I would like to welcome everyone to Adelaide. The local committee feels privileged to host delegates from so many countries and we look forward to promoting Australia in the Asia-Pacific region in true South Australian style. We have put together an informative lecture program, trade show and with your participation the scientific competition promises to be of an exceptional standard.

                Adelaide has a temperate climate: winters are mild, but can be quite cold at times so please remember to pack some warmer items of clothing. We look forward to seeing you all in August 2002.
